The Luv Bugs Collection is a Swedish-born children's brand for kids ages 3 to 8. The universe is built around a growing cast of characters, including Candy Bug, Love Bug, Happy Bug, Tease Bug, Dance Bug and Rich Bug, where every bug has its own superpower and its own weakness. Together they form a world where everyday emotions get clear, friendly faces.
The content lives in three formats: bedtime stories as a podcast, picture books and animated short films. Everything is written and produced in Swedish first, with a parallel English version under development as Luv Bugs Collection.
The Luv Bugs are not about "good" and "bad" characters. Every bug carries both a superpower and a weakness, just like all of us do. When a bug acts up, teases someone or takes a little too much, there's always something behind the behavior.
Our hope is that the stories and short films give kids and grown-ups a shared language for talking about feelings and behavior, without judgment. The characters make mistakes. They're still part of the group. They're still loved. That's the whole point.
The stories always end warmly. The Luv Bugs are never scolded at the end of a tale, they're met with understanding. That doesn't mean their actions don't have consequences, but the consequence always lands somewhere constructive, like a hug.
All the content is made with the 3 to 8 age group in mind. That shows up in concrete choices in how the stories and films are built.
No monsters, no unsafe moments, no unsettling sounds. The stories are written to calm kids down, especially at bedtime.
The families in the stories are multicultural and different in every episode. Inclusion is a core principle, not an afterthought.
All the bugs are referred to as "it", never he or she. That makes it easier for every child to see themselves in the stories.
No ads, no buy buttons inside the stories. The content is made for the kids, not to sell things to them.
Every story ends gently. No cliffhangers, no worry left to carry into sleep.
