Smiley Bug has an enormous force inside it. It shows up, it's super happy, and it keeps barreling forward until everyone around catches it too. Joy gets there one way or another.
When Smiley Bug shows up, everyone catches the joy. Smiles spread like ripples on water. Laughter bubbles up out of nowhere. Even the grumpiest grown-up can't hold it in.
Smiley Bug has a really hard time letting anyone stay sad for long. It hops in and does everything it can to coax out a smile or a giggle. But sometimes you actually just want to be a little sad for a while. Smiley Bug doesn't quite get that.
Can't switch off the joy even when it should. Pops up during a boring lesson, when someone's trying to sleep, or in the middle of a serious conversation. Means well but has zero sense of timing.
Smiley Bug needs laughter and smiles to keep itself going. If everyone is too stressed or too busy to smile, it loses energy and shrinks, just like a flower without sunshine.
It always happens when it shouldn't. No one understands why. And everyone laughs in the end.
Someone is trying to say something important. The mood is hushed. The room is quiet.
Bouncing into the situation with its crown tilted and a giant smile. Completely unaware.
No one can stay serious anymore. Laughter spreads. The important conversation turns into a party.
Making someone happy is the finest thing there is!
